Along with Liliana Felipe restored La Capilla Theater and founded El Habito Cabaret where she has performed and directed more than 320 shows in ten years (1990-2000)

In 1996, Jesusa directed and produced in video the opera Cosí Fan Tutte by Mozart and Da Ponte.

In 1997, directed a version for chamber opera of First Dream by Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz.

In 1998-1999 performed in Mexico City and New York: Belen, a Book of Hours.

In 2000, presented The Fire by Jose Ramon Enriquez, Syphilitic Prometheus by Renato Leduc and the free adaptation of Prometheus by Eschilo.

In 2000, along with Liliana, received the OBIE AWARD granted by New York’s newspaper The Village Voice.

In 2000, Liliana and Jesusa also inaugurated Brava! Theater in San Francisco presenting Belen: a Book of Hours. Currently Jesusa is working on Macbeth by William Shakespeare.

In 2002 she directed William Shakespeare´s Macbeth, with an audience of 2000.
